Who we are:
Lynn Rose, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech and language pathologist with 18 years of experience working as a clinician in both the public school system and the private clinic setting. She has experience working with children of all ages and disabilities but specializes in disorders of language and articulation, oral-placement disorders, motor planning difficulties, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and those who are picky or resistant eaters. She is currently a therapist at Cheshire Fitness Zone and Pediatric Therapy, a private clinic in Cheshire, Connecticut.
Susan Danaher, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed speech and language pathologist with 18 years experience. She is currently a speech and language pathologist for Watertown Public Schools. She is co-owner of private practice, Therapy By Design, LLC, serving all ages and types of communication disabilities. She has specialized training in the areas of motor planning/feeding, oral placement/articulation, oral myofacial disorders, auditory processing delays/disorders, voice disorders, and autism. She is certified in PROMPT and Fast ForWord Language and Reading Programs.
Patty Long-Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP, has over eighteen years of experience working with children with communication disorders. Patty is currently a licensed speech-language pathologist working in public schools and also co-owns the private speech clinic, Therapy by Design in Woodbury, CT. She specializes in articulation, phonological and language disorders, oral motor, fluency and voice disorders. Patty has specialized training in Oral-Placement Disorders, PROMPT, Orofacial Myology, Sounds in Motion, apraxia, autism, the Hanen Program (It Takes Two to Talk) and is a certified provider of Fast ForWord. Patty is also a certified Yoga instructor (RYT 200 Yoga Alliance) and is grateful for the effect that Yoga has had on her work as a SLP.
